AWS Cloud Engineer - Remote Contract - India

​Seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer with a passion for technology, a drive for excellence, and the skills to bring innovative solutions to life.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud solutions, including infrastructure as code, automation, and configuration management.

• Architect and deploy highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.

• Develop and implement security best practices for AWS environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.

• Monitor and optimize AWS resources for performance, cost, and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

• Stay current with AWS best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends.

• Proven track record of designing and building scalable, reliable, and secure environments in AWS for development, testing, and production.

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Github or GitLab CI/CD to automate software delivery and deployment
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience in related field.

• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification preferred.

• Strong expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudFormation.

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Nice to Have:

• Experience with event-driven architecture

• Experience with AWS serverless architecture - (gateway, step functions, lambda)

• Expertise designing and building highly performant large-scale systems

• Exposure to modern CI/CD in Github Actions, Bitbucket and Vercel
